Dr Jitendra lays foundation stone of new schemes in Doda
Says Central Govt committed to overall growth of Chenab region
BHADERWAH, NOVEMBER 16: Union Minister of State, PMO,  Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated various vital projects during his one day visit to Bhaderwah tehsil.  
The projects included those completed by PWD, PMGSY under   CRF, NABARD, RMSA during the current financial year.
 District Development Commissioner Dr Sagar D Doifode and other officers of district administration Doda accompanied the Minister.
The projects which were inaugurated by the union Minister included improvement/upgradation of Bhaderwah to Chamba road(8 km), steel girder motorable bridge over Koti nallah, upgraded Dangrota to Ganika road, upgraded road Chilli morh to Bhupa bridge,100 bedded girls hostel at city middle school Doda, Gandoh Jai road phase 2nd, construction and maintenance of Drudu to Gutasa road. He also laid foundation stone for construction motorable bridge on link road from Kursari to KV school, improvement and upgradation of pull Doda to Beoli road via Doda town.
Earlier, the DDC Doda informed the Union Minister that various important projects will be soon started in the district with the support of central government like government degree college Marmat, women’s government degree college for Doda, Government degree college for Bhalla and professional college at Bhela, All India institute of High Altitude Medicinal plant at Bhaderwah and KV Bhaderwah.
The DDC said the land proposals for these projects have already been sent to the higher authorities, besides he informed that Government degree college Kastigarh has started function this academic year.
Dr Jitendra Singh congratulated the district administration for their efforts in completing the projects and said that central government under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi is committed for the overall development of this region in all   respects. He said that with the constitutional changes the pace of development work will increase in the new union territory of J&K and assured every possible help to the district administration for the overall growth of the region.
Others present were SSP Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, district and sectoral officers of the district administration, besides huge gathering of the people.
